     We are very pleased to announce to our loyal clients & patients that our main veterinarian, Dr. Edward Song, became the first and only ABVP “Board Certified Specialist for Canine and Feline” in Laguna Niguel and he is also a well known “Certified Veterinary Acupuncturist”. ABVP Diplomates in Canine and Feline Practice offer proven knowledge and expertise above and beyond other veterinarians and have earned the privilege to specialize in the treatment of dogs and cats. By this achievement, Dr. Song demonstrates a strong commitment to the best possible care for your pet. 

     Dr. Song now became part of a small group of veterinarians across the country who has earned the title "Diplomate" from the ABVP Board Certified Specialist for Canine and Feline. To become a “Board Certified Specialist,” Dr. Song made a choice to undergo a very long and difficult process that took several years to complete. He made the professional choice to pursue additional studies and examinations to achieve this outstanding goal.

We are continually upgrading our facility so that we can have the best diagnostic testing, the safest anesthetic procedures, and the most advanced surgical equipment that can be found anywhere. Equally important to us, is that we have a friendly, well trained staff to make your visit to our hospital a pleasant experience.

     South Coast Veterinary Hospital is open 6 days a week, including all day Saturdays (Mon-Fri: 7:30 am-6 pm, Sat: 8 am-4 pm). We are close on Sunday. 

     We provide all general cares, as well as advanced pet care services, which include: tumor/bone surgeries, TTA surgery for torn ACL knee, endoscopy, laparoscopy, eye surgery, laser surgery, on-site digital X-rays, heart & abdominal ultrasound, non-anesthetic and anesthetic dentistry, needle/laser acupuncture therapy and herb therapy, and laboratory testing. You will see the reasons why we get many referral clients from our pre-existing clients. We also provide veterinary care for dogs, cats, birds, rabbits, pocket pets and reptiles.
